Phillip Ahrens - Just A Normal Girl

writen by: jordan br br br I’d like to think myself as normal, br Just an ordinary girl. br But I’m not into butterflies, br I don’t do ballet twirls. br br I hate wearing make-up, br No eye shadow or blush. br I don’t have time in a morning, br As I’m always in a rush. br br I don’t wear fancy underwear, br Especially not a thong. br For all the girls who do out there, br I think it’s kind of wrong. br br I don’t spend hours on the phone, br Just simply chatting away. br I only need to take five minutes, br On my hair everyday. br br My room is not spotless, br My room is not a tip. br I don’t put powder on my nose, br I don’t give teachers lip. br br I don’t go after every boy, br That I come across. br I don’t think I’m better than everyone, br Don’t think that I’m the boss. br br I don’t walk with my breasts, br Held high up in the air. br I don’t try to shake my bottom, br Or twirl and flick my hair. br br I just want to get through, br These taunting years of school. br I don’t care what you think of me, br I don’t care if I’m not ‘cool’. br br And I do have a good time, br A laugh with all my friends. br I balance it with learning, br This is my beginning, not my end.
