A wonderfull day is unfolding. br A child has gone blackberry picking. br Along a thorn freckled hillside, br these bursting fruits do reside. br Nary a cloud in the sky. br Only sunshine by and by. br Nature’s gladdest moment does shine, br All along that slope of mine. br A happy jaunt in his step, br For blackberry thoughts do pep. br Later on after a culling’s done, br its off to home with berries won.
