Sara Fielder - Know it All

Sara Fielder - Know it All

How does it feel to know it all? br I'm curious, do tell br To be so arrogant enough br The rest can go to hell? br It must be nice upon your throne br You intellectual snob br To think the worlds so black and white br And we are but its dogs. br br It must be nice to know it all br Forgive, but I must ask br Ever lose an argument? br No, no. There's not a chance br When others bow and kiss your feet br The hem that trims your robe br Does your huge ego jump for joy br On top, but all alone? br br It must be nice to know it all br The rest of us so small br We'll just pull weeds br And mind the sheep br And drink the bitter gall br We'll just sit back as best we can br Obligingly and nod br Yes yes, you're right, of course you are br Let's not forget you're God br br br Written by Sara Fielder © Dec 2011 br br br Written by Sara Fielder © Dec 2011 br br NOTE: This poem was written about my husband after a disagreement.
