Each month brings a new, br Flowers, trees, hopes, dream and much more... br Throughout the long year... br br January: “Matsu” br The fragrant pine trees, br Signifies the arrival br Of a grand new year. br br Feburary: “Ume” br With snow still present, br spring begins to slowly show. br Giving hope to some. br br March: “Sakura” br Spring arrives this month br Encouraging new wishes. br Desiring grand change. br br April: “Fuji” br The rainy month brings, br Next month’s elegant flowers, br And bountiful floods br br May: “Ayame” br With bountiful floods, br Little, elegant flowers, br Begin to peak out. br br June: “Botan” br The year is half way, br A break begins for children, br and nature’s entrance. br br July: “Hagi” br Patriotism, br Countries’ rise, and countries’ fall, br Creating our earth. br br August: “Susuki” br Cicadas crying, br Bring an elegant end to br the days of warm summer. br br September: “Kiku” br Leaves begin to turn, br Their many passionate shades br A romantic fall. br br October: “Momiji” br The last of leaves fall, br Bringing winter closer, br Snow begins to fall. br br November: “Yanagi” br Thankfulness given, br To special people we love. br Soon a new start comes. br br December: “Kiri” br The year starts it’s end. br Celebrating many ends. br Promise of new year.
