A tear, two tears, a timeless flood br A drip, two drips, a bucket of blood br Pain excruciating and everlasting br Void of joy and full of crud br br A tear, two tears, more than you can count br A drip, a drop, a force you can’t mount br Brain numbing and mind boggling br More than you’ll ever recount br br A tear, two tears, a waterfall br A drip, a torrent, an intricate pall br An ecclesiastical pallium br Spread over the wall br br A tear, two tears, an empty urn br No place to run, nowhere to turn br Breathless and vanquished all at once br Ashes to ashes, your body will burn br br A tear, two tears, a full coffin br Mangled and wasted all too often br Prodigious happenings all around br Portentous moralizing so abound br br A tear, two tears, your cup runeth over br A gregarious flock of beautiful plover br Juxtaposed photos for stark effect br Bountiful fields of burnt clover br br Meaningful signs that here She comes br Eleven hands with thirteen thumbs br Blinding apocalyptic white flashes br Leaving finite miniscule breadcrumbs br br A tear, two tears, that’s all that’s left br Nondescript culmination of the lonely bereft br Nothingness crawling up an erroneous pole br Blank memories erased from a mind half whole br br Your tears are meaningless to the universe br They’ll be obdurately defined as a curse br Stop crying now you empiric dupe br Your tears are macabre and foretell much worse.br br J.B.
