Sagar Shelar - A Poor Poet's Love

Sagar Shelar - A Poor Poet's Love

In the city of rich persons, br Who were born with silver spoons in their mouth br Their houses were like a king's palace br Their wives wear gold neck- laces. br They spent money with both hands br For their hollow prestige and respect from mens br In that city of gold br There lived a poor poet br who loved rich girl. br Poet had nothing br but had pen, ink, papers and his feeling. br The girl looked like an angel br Her one smyle killed thousands br Her eyes blue more than sky br Her tears looked waterfall. br Poet always thought about her br His love crossed all borders br His every breath spoke her name br but she never felt same. br He wrote beautiful poems for her br He loved her like a mother br He couldn't dared to speak with her br As he knew the truth of life better. br One day he committed suicide br in his room's darkest side br Only poems were his memories br No one understood his love and feelings.
