The Lady of the House br Demanded the bride a ring on her nose; br For it's a customary of that family, br The bride obeyed them humbly and happily. br br With glowing stud on the nose, br The eyes full of sweet dreams br And the heart full of true love, br The innocent stept into that grave. br br The Lady's kins of thick blood br Pierced the bride that she bled br To feed their filthy false vanity, br Thus ruined mercilessly her Happy Residency! br br The nose stud there made a big sore, br The bride, with patience, yet, she bore br When the hot string remade the hole br ‘cause it's a mark of her love-life's soul. br br The heartless kins made a suite, br The groom entertained the scene in mute; br The bride, the silent victim left the choice in all, br How grand is his reward of subtle love shawl! br br No passion no fashion no feast no move in her clock, br With dried eyes and heart, she stood as a living rock. br br The nose stud betrayed its Mistress again, br So did the lady throw the bride in decline. br The life came to still but not her breath; br Isn't it better, ' she felt. ‘I hug to death? ' br br Lo! See the trick of the lifeless stud, br Now it's screw buried in the skin graveyard! br Her parents were afraid that she might get tumor, br If it closed her nostril growing in bigger and bigger. br br But, god's grace! The screw was out after some mon's, br With hard efforts and blood and wounds.
