War child, war soldier, br I'm too young to go kill, br I have nightmares every night, br the flashbacks are so powerful. br br I'm so scared I can't scream, br scream bloody murder when, br I was shot in my leg, br heavily sedated, br by the cocaine I begged for, br so that I would not feel, br this unbearable physical pain. br br The cocaine hits hard, br I start to drift, br into my own world, br a non-realistic world, br right now, right here, br this day and night, br I feel somewhat alright. br br The cocaine high, br now gone, br I am left numb and empty, br with all the past killings, br I'm drugged and kill for these adult soldiers.
