Leaders of the social movement "Marcha Patriotica" (Patriotic Progress), have denounced attempts to impede the Colombian peace process between the government and the FARC-EP. They stated that paramilitaries, retired military officers, and civilian members of the extreme right have been planning to assassinate two peace activists and a member of the FARC-EP negotiating team.
