Critically ill Sierra Leone doctor with Ebola lands in U.S. for treatment

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)br br STORY: A Sierra Leone surgeon with Ebola on Saturday (November 15) landed in Omaha, Nebraska for treatment at a U.S. hospital.br br The doctor is critically ill, possibly sicker than other patients treated in the U.S., the Nebraska Medical Center said on Saturday.br br Dr. Martin Salia, 44, a permanent U.S. resident who caught Ebola working as a surgeon in a Freetown hospital, arrived on a Phoenix Air flight from West Africa to Omaha at 2:45 p.m. local time (20:45 GMT) on Saturday and was transferred into a waiting ambulance.br br Three medical personnel drove with Dr. Salia to the medical center while police and Nebraska patrol escorted the vehicle.
