Tablets linked to the deaths of more than a dozen women who visited a sterilization camp in Chhattisgarh are likely to have contained a chemical compound commonly used in rat poison. The symptoms shown by the women who became unwell after undergoing botched sterilizations is similar to how the body reacts to zinc phosphide, doctors in Bilaspur said.
