Mumbai: BJP party workers gathered at Khar area to participate in the nationwide cleanliness campaign, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadvanis too undertook the cleanliness drive but two days later, the face of the area was back to basics. Residents said that Khar is full of slums and there is garbage all over the place. The hype around the event, which received a lot of media-coverage, did not go down well with local residents and said it was a mere political stunt.
