New 10point security plan announced by Mexican President

Yesterday, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto announced a ten point security action plan. This comes as he is under fire for failure of his government to find the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students kidnapped by crooked police two months ago, and following both national and international criticism of his administration's security policy. The reforms aim to centralize the police force, with the Federal government more closely involved in overseeing state security issues.
