Several sectors of Honduran civil society are calling on President Juan Orlando Hernandez to launch a national dialogue to stop the wave of violence and crime the country is experiencing. Activists and individual citizens accuse the government of being indifferent to the high crime rates and stress the relation between impunity and such violence.
