Nearly two dozen Independence Day demonstrators remain in custody on Sunday. Helsinki police are holding 23 people suspected of vandalism during an annual protest march on Saturday evening. The protesters gathered under the slogan ‘From the suburbs to the Palace’ in the eastern Itäkeskus district.
