The 5th Cuban Caribbean Community (CARCOM) summit is underway in Havana. The aim of the summit is to strengthen ties between the member states, increase integration, trade and collaboration in fields such as health and education. In the opening session, Cuban President Raul Castro said Havana's internationalist commitment to Caribbean community will be upheld and continued.
