Ahmedabad: ​India’s first heritage lab, 'Venture Lab' was inaugurated to mark one year of contract with Spain Embassy. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Heritage department had signed a contract of three years with European Commission after which commission decided to invest in heritage city. On the completion of a year, exhibition was held in which participants exhibited their talent in one form or the other.The initiative to set up Venture Lab was taken to integrate heritage resources. The lab will deal with needs of programmes to preserve and promote local artisans and heritage resource-persons, and develop tourism.
