Ahmedabad: The Police and RTO officials have decided to widen the scope of their drive to check the antecedents of taxi drivers. Now, authorities will conduct checks on each vehicle carrying passengers. It was decided to run the name and details of each taxi driver through all these databases in order to ensure a thorough check.
