Menk scored 8 points and accumulated 6 rebounds to counter the huge efforts of Taulava who scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for NLEX. Alaska immediately finished the series after 1 game via 82-78. Menk was subsequently hailed as the best player of the game due to his undeniable contribution to the Alaska win.
