MQM Co-ordination Committee has hailed the announcement by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about lowering of electricity charges and termed it a positive step for the country. The Co-ordination Committee said that people were facing hardships as a result of hike in prices of essential commodities. Lowering of power tariff after bringing down petrol prices would provide considerable relief to the people. The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM is a party of the masses and it would support and welcome every decision that would give relief to the people and lessen their burden.
