Mumbai: Into the second week of the state legislature's winter session, the BJP-led Devendra Fadnavis government bought peace with the Opposition by recommending the revocation of NCP MLA Jitendra Awhad's suspension. Awhad was suspended for the rest of the session for making acerbic remarks against housing and labour minister Prakash Mehta during a debate on the law and order situation in the state.
