pThe golden snub-nosed monkey is endemic to a small area in temperate, mountainous forests of central and Southwest China. In the world-famous Shennongjia National Nature Reserve, there are a number of conservation areas in the district’s mountains and wetlands, listed on UNESCO’s World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
