Banana, tuna, shrimp and flowers are the top non-oil exports from Ecuador. More than US$3.3 billion of these goods were exported to Europe while generating savings of US$600 million in taxes thanks to the preferential duty treatment that was negotiated between the Ecuadoran government and the European Union.
