Protesters turned out in Berkeley, Missouri on Wednesday night to protest the shooting death of an armed black teenager a day earlier.br br Demonstrators blocked traffic, and stood in front of police at the gas station where an 18 year old black male was shot by police on Tuesday night after he pointed a loaded weapon at an officer.br br Local media have identified the deceased man as Antonio Martin.br br It happened near Ferguson, Missouri where the shooting death of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown by a white police officer set off massive demonstrations nation wide.br br Police said officers had been responding to reports of a theft and had approached Martin and another person.br br They say Martin then pointed a loaded 9 mm handgun at the officer, who fired three shots, one of which fatally wounded Martin.br br Police said they found a handgun with a defaced serial number at the scene.
