EDIT: For everyone commenting on the gap at the bottom, please understand that I was replacing the floor in the hallway, and there was a large gap there to allow for the floor install, PLEASE click on this image to see the final gap br br br I replaced a 30" standard door with a 5" deep bookshelf door. It hides my bonus roommancave. It uses offset hinges to make the door opening wider so the thick door does not get in the way. One of the key things about this door is that it had to be functional. There are a lot of hidden doors that only give you an opening of 20 or less inches, and that does not work when you have company over. br br Feel free to ask questions, I will be happy to post pictures.
