The Hidden Universality of Food Allergybr Gluten Free Society - Humble Civic Centerbr Dr. Russell M. Jaffe is Lab Director of ELISAACT Biotechnologies LLC and Fellow of the Health Studies Collegium. Through his expertise in non-invasive studies of cells, he developed novel tests for blood platelet survival, fibrinogen survival, platelet aggregation, and lymphocyte response (LRA by ELISAACT® ). He also developed the first test for traces of blood in stool that is not made falsely negative by ascorbate (vitamin C). Dr. Jaffe received his BS, Ph.D., and MD from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1972. He completed residency training in clinical chemistry at the National Institutes of Health (1973 - 1979) and is board certified in Clinical Pathology and in Chemical Pathology.
