Gandhinagar : As per the state police’s blueprint for the security layout as of now, around 7,000 policemen would be deployed at the ground level for frisking and venue’s security along with the Chetak commando force. This is besides the 2,000-strong State Reserve Police (SRP) jawans who would give additional security at the venues for checking of vehicles, bags, etc. The control rooms would be manned by policemen of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar round the clock.
