pDave Wisniewski headed outside on January 5 to take out the recyclables when he was struck by the sight of a huge grasshopper. When he went in for a closer look, it took him by surprise by abruptly taking flight. While airborne, the grasshopper was snatched by a passing bird in the time it would take for Dave to blink. The mid-air catch was over in a split second, but Dave managed to capture it on camera.
