Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC) was given a cheque of Rs.69 lakh by Gujarat government as a part of grant which was credited in State Bank of India on February 25, 2014 but it took 22 days to get the cheque cleared due to which JMC is compelled to pay actual interest along with the real interest of 9 months. JMC has taken legal actions against negligence of bank authorities.
