France declares day of mourning following Charlie Hebdo massacre

A national day of mourning was declared in France today after hooded gunmen stormed the offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo Wednesday in an apparent militant-Islamist attack. 12 people were killed including four of the magazine's well-known cartoonists, its editor, and two police officers. Two of the main suspects have been detained and a third has turned himself in to authorities.
