A Special report was prepared for 23rd March. For the first time it took the viewer back, connecting the resolution of Pakistan with the ‘ongoing’ World War 2 in 1940. It also depicted as to how the All India Congress and Muslim League played their respective part in the background of the Second World War. A charge on Khaksar Tehreek procession in Lahore threatened the Pakistan resolution, but sheer determination of Mr. Jinnah held the things together and the historic day successfully went by.
