Venezuela's Food Minister Ivan Bello said the Public Food Network is sufficiently well supplied to meet the population's needs. Public Food Network distribution centers receive up to 200,000 kilos of food and supplies daily. Meanwhile, biometric systems are being used to identify those purchasing goods for illegal export.
