viva polisario intifada part.2

In The Folk High School of Jakobsberg there is a long tradition of solidarity work. br br Since the very start of the Folk High Schools there have existed forgotten, postponed, rejected issues that the “official, respectable, important and serious” press and the establishment do not care about. If they deal with these issues then it is in order to oppose or criminalize them. br br In the struggle between a tank with cannons and machine guns run by a murderer and a barefoot thirteen-year old boy in worn clothes throwing stones, the establishment and its press will stand up for the tank and its driver. br br In this Christian world of ours the tank we mentioned attacks the place where Jesus was born, Jesus´ birth church and not much is done to stop it. The official world does not seem to have any voice to stop the atrocities and many times those who have the right on their side have been left without any voice. br br The Solidarity Committee of The Folk High School of Jakobsberg which is a very small institution and with very small resources try to help consistently and in solidarity with material and diffusion of material in the struggle for these issues of justice. From this modest place we defend the voices that the Power does not tolerate. br br Even if the solidarity work of the school goes far back in time, we can start with the period of the Vietnam War when the school supported the Vietnamese people in its many years´ struggle, first against the French and then against the Americans. American deserters got a place of refuge at the school in the 60´s.
