A BJP worker was allegedly assaulted and harassed by cops in a jungle in Birbhum in West Bengal. The victim was allegedly involved in TMC-BJP clashes in Birbhum and cops held her on suspicion. FIR has been registered against seven policemen while a top official named in the complaint against Birbhum police. Meanwhile, Special Probe committee has been formed to investigate alleged harassment.
