After a meeting in Havana, the Colombian Government in conjunction with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) have issued a joint statement in which they announce a series of agreements for the next round of peace talks. Representatives of both sides confirmed that a bilateral cease-fire, the de-escalation of fighting, justice for the victims of the conflict, and finally the end of the conflict will be key themes when the negotiations begin again February 2 in Havana, Cuba.
