pThe MB RACE CULTURE VÉLO is a cross-country mountain biking event, which takes place in the region of Portes du Mont-Blanc (comprising of Combloux, Megève, La Giettaz, Cordon and Sallanches), a breathtaking site facing Mont-Blanc itself. The race has existed ever since its inception in 2010. The main challenge is an ultra-marathon covering some 140km (7000m ascent).br br It distinguishes itself in the panorama of French mountain bike racing by being the only ultra-marathon to be labelled “the most difficult race in the world”, and with good reason: only one of the 600 individuals who took part in the 2010 race managed to cross the finish line.p br br pIn 2015, it is set to take place from 4 – 5 July in Combloux.p br br pBolstered by its success in 2014, the event asserted itself as a major gathering, both in the region and in the world of mountain bike racing itself.
