Hostgator is a little more expensive than the average hosting out there. But, they have a service you can rely on. I have used cheap hosting ($1month) from other hosts, but often I got very poor uptime and support. Not with Hostgator. If you have a site with content that has to be up 100 of the times, and you value direct support (through chat or phone call), then choose Hostgator.
