Parents of the missing Ayotzinapa teaching college students firmly rejected the attorney general's decision to declare their children dead, particularly given the lack of forensics evidence to back up such a decision. The witnesses who claim to have killed and burned the students are members of the criminal gang Guerreros Unidos who were running the Iguala Guerrero Police force. The parents are angered by the Mexican government's decision to end what is essentially, an investigation into its own corrupt authorities, the same authorities that forcibly disappeared their children in late September.
