Since there are not many graphics options to tweak, the resolution was stepped down to 1280x720 in windowed mode. Works better of course and i can both record and race at 30fps most of the time but 30fps really isn't adequate for a racing game. It would be adequate for a turn-based game or any other game that does not utilize fast motion but certainly not a racing game. At this setting, the game ran above 30fps but below 60 fps with the recorder off; certainly playable & feasible to record gameplay but not ideal if winning is everything. br br Generally i found V-sync off to be the most suitable setting for any game that requires instant response between user input and game response but this time, as per a friend's advice, i decided to try V-sync-On at full monitor refresh rate of 60Hz.
