MotoGP14 demo version - as Crutchlow

MotoGP14 demo version - as Crutchlow

Up the ante a little since by now i'm a bit more familiar with the track and bike handling so it's Medium AI this time. There's some stuttering in mid gameplay, dunno what caused it. Maybe my laptop was overheating. br br The GP rules in this game IS unfair; running wide incurs time penalty which makes no sense. It's fair when applied to cutting corners but running wide already lost precious seconds by itself. br br Another aspect of unfairness occurs during collisions with AI. The AI bikes seems to be glued to the asphalt when it's obvious that they should've fallen. The player on the other hand gets a skittish bike that has a greater tendency to fall over on collision. It's true that IRL bike collisions are unforgiving but it must be handled equally in-game otherwise the AI always gets the upper hand. Dunno if this bug is only peculiar to the demo version or carries over to the full version. br br Anyway my laptop can barely run this game with the recorder on. Even with the recorder off it can't run at 60fps or above unless the resolution is further lowered so i'll defer purchase until a suitable time. br br I'm going to stick to MotoGP13 for awhile because it has a nifty feature which auto highlights moments of the race before the full replay. In addition the player bike is less likely to fall compared to the AI on collision which gives me the upper hand ;-) Lastly it simply runs better on my machine. br br I don't think there are compelling reasons to buy this one over MotoGP13 unless you're a fan of the series. But then again i've only tried the demo; many features are disabled.
