The fifth season of the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones was ordered by HBO in April 2014, together with the sixth season,[2] and is scheduled to premiere on April 12, 2015.[1] It will adapt material from A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons,[3] the fourth and fifth novels in George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.
