Interview of Lindsey Vonn after her 1st Downhill Training Run in Beaver Creek! br br Translation: br Interviewer: Lindsey how much fun was it to ski this Downhill fort he 1st time? br Lindsey: Yeah it was great. It was sunny but very windy unfortunately. But it doesn’t matter. For me it was a good run. I couldn’t see some gates but it was a good 1st run and i’m looking forward tot he race the tomorrow. br Interviewer: It’s the 1st time on this slope but you maybe know the slope better than every one else here? br Lindsey: No i only trained here for four days in december but the other skiers skied the Downhill last year and i only skied Super G. It was really the 1st Downhill race on this slope for me and i was a bit cautious but i know the slope and the bumps and it’s good. br Interviewer: Did you also safe some energy for the Super G tomorrow? br Lindsey: Yeah sure. It wasn’t important to ski fast today only to look for the right line. Tomorrow i’ll risk all but today was only a training run. br Interviewer: Thank you and good luck for tomorrow.
