In a major review of the country's GDP assessment, the government has changed its base year for calculating GDP to 2011-2012. Due to this change in calculation, the GDP for the year 2013-2014 has been revised upwards to 6.6 from the earlier 4.7 ET NOW caught up with the Chief Statistician of India TCA Anant on what it means for the government's numbers game.
