Luke 10v38-42:- Martha being a once-born could not appreciate Gospel but Mary did. br br Martha and Mary br br 38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet - a corruption by the Messianic Jews who Judaised the New Testament. and listened to his Preaching and not teaching. 40 But Martha, the once-born was distracted with much serving but she like Nicodemus couldn’t understand Gospel never mind appreciation. And she went up to him and said, "Lord as they called their Rabbis, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me." 41 But our Elder Brother Jesus and not the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary above all the worldly Treasures. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her." br br In Jesus, we are to be solitary.
