I’ve got to give Boulevard credit for being so brash as to label it’s beer with a simple, generic beer name. They are basically saying, “we didn’t invent Imperial Stout but we’re going to pretend like we did.”br br I like an imperial stout. There’s a burn with it, like the perfect marriage between beer and liquor. Which is a marriage that in other contexts isn’t as successful. And I don’t mean that as a clever metaphor for how alcohol disrupts the marital dynamic. I mean it literally, two beverages of the same kind aren’t always allowed to marry. Which is a shame. Because that would be a fantastic wedding reception. I’d probably flirt with the brides maids. Maybe take her home. Spend all night with her.
