The state of Lara, Venezuela, is home to one of the 33 plants of "Los Andes" Dairy Products, a company that was nationalized by the Venezuelan government in 2008 and which has 6,850 employees across the country. With a monthly production of 24,000 tons of daily products, it enjoys a 50 share of the Venezuelan market.
