The Ecuadoran National Assembly and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (ACNUR) have signed an agreement to provide greater protection for refugees, Ecuadorans returning abroad, immigrants, and victims of human trafficking. Of the country's 56,000 refugees, 98 are Colombian and 80 seek permanent residency status in Ecuador. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito.
