Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos announced that a group of 15 senior military officials will meet with leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in Havana Cuba to discuss the possibility of a bilateral cease fire. This would represent a major breakthrough for a final peace agreement putting an end to the five decade armed conflict.
