To get my source files, sign up at: br In this episode I will show you how I shot a photo, straight into the sun, of a beautiful woman with her daughter in a lifestyle-type photo. br br The key here is to try to do it with just classic gear, I had a 100mm lens with the Sony a7r and no flash. I did not expect to shoot this type of photo at this time and had to improvise.br br The rules are:br br 1. Try to expose for the highlights to get that sunset feeling but just enough so that you can still have some skin detail.br br 2. Do not make a too small shallow depth of field as it is hard to focus in this situation. br br 3. Try to compose with the light so that the sun is positioned in a nice place with the subjects.br br 4. Find the right white balance to give it a nice sunset feel to it.
