Ahmedabad: Union minister Bharatsinh Solanki was named the president of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC), for a second time, earlier this month. Solanki is a two-term MP and four-time MLA. The Congress has been out of power in Gujarat for more than two decades. In a corrective step, Congress chose Bharatsinh Solanki as a new chief of GPCC. After taking reins of Congress, Solanki taught lessons to members to resurrect the party's fortune.
